I'm an artist-anthropologist who hopes to remind people of the magic that can be found by noticing even the smallest aspects of our everyday surroundings.

I studied Anthropology at Northwestern University (BS) and Human Ecology at Lund University (MS), and now I'm happily continuing to explore the close enmeshment of human cultures and their environments as a PhD candidate at Wageningen University in the Netherlands. 

 

My creative practice is strongly influenced by daily observations of nature and phenology, folk art & craft traditions, and an obsession with miniature things.
